Recently, Starken AAC Sdn. Bhd. (SAAC), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Chin Hin Group Berhad (a prominent Malaysian comprehensive construction group), signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Jiangsu Teeyer Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd. The MOU outlines SAAC's procurement of a complete set of Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (AAC) production equipment for the construction of its third AAC plant. This strategic collaboration marks Chin Hin Group's entry into a new phase of capacity expansion strategy.
The new factory will be located adjacent to the existing production base in Serendah, Selangor, and is planned to achieve full operational capacity by May 31, 2026. Once operational, it will add over 1 million cubic meters of annual production capacity, heralding a new era for Malaysia's AAC super factory.
Ng Wai Luen, CEO of the Building Materials Division of Chin Hin Group, emphasized that this strategic partnership with Teeyer Intelligent is a significant milestone in the group's development trajectory. He stated, "Teeyer's global technological expertise and project implementation experience align closely with our strategic objectives of expanding capacity and enhancing market competitiveness, effectively meeting the rising demand for sustainable and high-quality building materials in both the Malaysian and overseas markets."
As the first listed company in China's building material machinery sector specializing in complete AAC production equipment, Jiangsu Teeyer Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd. has been deeply engaged in the AAC equipment manufacturing industry for over 35 years. It has successfully completed the construction of more than 1,200 AAC block/panel production lines, with nearly 200 lines exported to over 30 countries and regions worldwide. Teeyer Intelligent has earned industry recognition for its innovative technological capabilities, including breakthroughs in the localization of AAC cutting machines and the independent development of a Manufacturing Execution System (MES), among other industry-first achievements.
Currently, Chin Hin Group operates two AAC factories with a combined annual production capacity of 1.2 million cubic meters. With the commissioning of the third factory, the group's total annual production capacity will surge to over 2.2 million cubic meters. This capacity enhancement plan not only reinforces Chin Hin Group's dominant market position in Malaysia's building materials sector but also underscores its long-term commitment to investing in advanced manufacturing technologies, optimizing operational efficiency, and responding to the growing demand for eco-friendly building materials.
Teeyer’s strategic collaboration with Chin Hin Group will assist the latter in further solidifying its leadership position in Malaysia's comprehensive building materials industry, propelling it to new heights in sustainable growth and innovative technology application.
